DFWTT Progress of Activities for 2019

Charity Program Update – In our continued pledge to donate $2 for each player that participates in our tournaments, DFWTT has donated $172 to the American Red Cross.

2019 DFWTT Fall Open – DFWTT hosted its yearly Fall Open on November 16th. The tournament was held in Dallas at the JCC (Jewish Community Center). Thanks to everyone who attended this year's tournament.

Charity Program Update – In our continued pledge to donate $2 for each player that participates in our tournaments, DFWTT has donated $234 to Sportfist - online table tennis tournament software and $167.98 to the Dallas Chinese Community Center.

2019 Chinese Double Ten – DFWTT hosted its yearly Chinese Double Ten Celebration tournament on September 28th. The tournament was held in Irving at the Cimarron Recreation Center.

2019 TX State Championship – DFWTT hosted the Texas State Championsip tournament on August 24. The tournament was held at Cimarron Recreation Center for morning events and at the T Bar M Racquet Club for afternoon events. Thanks to everyone for attending the tournament.

Charity Program Update – In our continued pledge to donate $2 for each player that participates in our tournaments, DFWTT has donated $175.10 to Homes For Our Troops (HFOT). HFOT builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post - 9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives.

Table Tennis Clinic – On April 18th, a special table tennis clinic was held for Edge Natural Resources at the JCC location.

 

 

2019 DFWTT Spring Open – DFWTT hosted its Spring Open on April 13th and 14th. The tournament was held in Dallas at the T Bar M Racquet Club. The USATT rating events were held on Saturday and the non-rating events were held on Sunday.

NCTTA National Championships – The 2019 iSet College Table Tennis Championships took place on April 12th - 14th in Greensboro, North Carolina. Results of the tournament are on the NCTTA website.

2019 Dallas Senior Games – DFWTT hosted the Dallas Senior Games Table Table Tournament on March 9th at the T Bar M Racquet Club in Dallas. This event was part of the Dallas Park and Recreation's Senior Games which included 12 different competitive sports.

NCTTA Texas Division – Texas Wesleyan University hosted the NCTTA Texas Division on February 9th at the Sid Richardson Center in Fort Worth. Results of the tournament can be found at the NCTTA website. Grant Bergmann's pictures: Pics

 

2019 DFWTT Charity Tournament – DFWTT hosted a charity tournament on January 19th at the Cimarron Recreation Center in Irving, Texas. This tournament was for the benefit of firefighters and the police force. A donation of $500 was made to the Dallas Fire Fighters Association Local 58 Relief Fund. A donation of $500 was made to Assist the Officer Foundation (ATO), Fredrick Frazier, Dallas Police Association.
