DFWTT hosted its yearly Fall Open at the Bachman Recreation Center in Dallas.

DFWTT hosted its yearly Chinese Double Ten Celebration tournament at the Cimarron Recreation Center in Irving.
DFWTT hosted the Dallas Golden Games Table Tennis Tournament at the Marcus Recreation Center. This event is part of the Dallas Park and Recreation's Golden Games which includes 8 different competitive sports.
Grand opening of the Heights Recreation Center location in Richardson, Sunday afternoons 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Free play offered on July 25, August 1, and August 8.
The USATT held its US National Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The US National & Jr Pan Am Games Team Trials was held inside the Sid Richardson Gymnasium at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth. Tournament information and video streams were available on the USATT website.
